Get Involved with CMS!

Updated: Jun 1, 2021

NC State’s AMA chapter hosted its last meeting of the semester this March. As the semester came to a close, so did the projects for CMS Consulting. Teams representing two different businesses shared their presentations on how to promote and advertise the business’ products and services through improved marketing techniques.

Brandon Romeo, Malachi Metz, Matt Noris, Lilly Fowler, and Gracie Diamond worked together in assisting Ten Toes Down, a streetwear company that is breaking fashion and social norms. The team developed a social media presence that conveys the brand’s personality and optimized their website to be more clear, professional, and aesthetically pleasing.

The second presentation was on behalf of Rogers’ Enterprises LTD, a company that specializes in log cabin home building. The team members were Sophia Gonzalez, Fatima Achnine, Shruti Tiwari, Colin Adams, and Nixon Sakib. The consultants worked together to improve the brand’s presence online and dove into some industry-specific market research to help the client with future plans for expansion.

CMS Consulting provides AMA members with the opportunity to practice hands-on marketing with small businesses who truly need the support from the teams. The agency is a great way to become more involved with AMA as it offers hands-on marketing experience for members. This year’s teams practiced communicating with each other and business professionals, researching and ideating marketing techniques and strategies, and proposing their hard work to the business as well as the rest of the chapter.

If you’re a current member of our AMA chapter and interested in getting involved, check out the CMS Consulting Website or email the CEO of CMS, Jake Brodeur, at jdbrodeu@ncsu.edu.
