Our Chapter

The NC State AMA is an internationally recognized chapter of the American Marketing Association, and the largest business organization at NC State. We are NC State's #1 source for marketing and professional development topics, including networking, LinkedIn, interviewing, and more!

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower NC State students to achieve the careers of their dreams. We accomplish this through professional development, real-world marketing experience, leadership opportunities, and meaningful connections.

WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER

Biweekly Meetings

During the school year we have biweekly meetings for all of our members to attend! Each meeting features a presentation from one of our sponsors or a special guest about a wide variety of topics, ranging from Digital Marketing to Emotional Intelligence. Make sure to come early to grab some food and network with other members before the meeting begins!

Networking Events

Join us at one of our private career fairs, networking events, or company visits! These events offer a more relaxed setting where our members can practice their networking skills, and more one-on-one time with employers than is possible at other career fairs on campus.

CMS Consulting

CMS Consulting is our student-led marketing agency that provides students an opportunity to gain hands-on consulting and marketing experience through partnerships with local companies. Collaboration with other student consultants, account managers, and clients gives CMS participants an idea of what ad agency work would be like as they pursue careers in the marketing industry.

LinkedIn

Workshop

Join us for our annual LinkedIn Workshop with guest speaker Rob Humphrey, and listen to this Key Account Executive from LinkedIn break down what it takes to set yourself apart! Whether you're already experienced with LinkedIn, or you're just getting started, you'll leave this workshop with a stronger capacity for networking.

Mentorship

Program

Our mentorship program gives our members an opportunity to establish an impactful relationship with someone that can help them navigate the early stages of their career. Those looking for a mentor are paired up with an upperclassman or professional from a variety of different professions, backgrounds, and interests to best suit their professional development needs.

TAKE THE FIRST STEP.

SET YOURSELF APART.
